★ Summary of “ODE TO AUTUMN”
The poem “ode to Autumn” has been composed by the great romantic poet John Keats.
It is one of the finest (बेहतरीन) poems of nature. He is regarded (माना) as a great natural poet of his time.
In this poem, the poet describes the beauty and characteristic (विशेषता) of Autumn season. In this season new leaves and fruits grow on the tree. There is neither heat of summer nor bitterly cold of winter (पतझड़ में ना ही गर्मी की गर्माहट होती है और ना ही शरद की शीत). Nature looks very beautiful. Everywhere birds began to sing sweet song at the advent (आगमन) of season. People look happy. They do their work easily during this season people look smart and healthy. The rays of the sun make men happy and bold. The rays of the sun make fruits testy. Calm (शांती) and cool remain everywhere.
Thus, we can say that the poet is a lover of nature who describes Autumn in a series of memorable picture (यादगार तस्वीर का सिलसिला)।
